Benjamin's parents are Alexa Sabay (our daughter) and Blake Ayers. He is our first grandchild.

On November 16, 2010, Don and I attended a taping of the Oprah Show. I was told I would be on the Heroes show for the work I do with rescue dogs and people with MS. We never imagined this taping would be Oprah's Ultimate Favorite Things show. We were shocked, amazed, and excited...but most of all, we felt very blessed and honored to have been selected to be on the show. This year was very challenging for us with the dog rescue and the horrible Allstate trial - so for this to happen to us, it truly is a miracle.

We believed that being honest during our trial would bring us justice. But instead, Allstate attorney, Max G. Nicolai and his "expert witness" Dr. Barbara Jessen lied and manipulated the jury by twisting words and telling half truths. Just know that expert witnesses in the State of Washington have full immunity and Allstate uses Dr. Jessen to bend the truth. If anyone out there is up against Allstate in court and especially against Max. G. Nicolai or Dr. Jessen, feel free to contact us and we can give you advice and the tactics they used in court.
